EFT is beautiful in its simplicity and yet most of us quickly learn it’s harder to do than it looks. Our optimism leaving an Externship can slowly dissipate as we get stuck with difficult couples. Renew your confidence by getting more detailed help in the areas where you lose focus and get lost in reactivity and mis-attunement. Go deeper with George as he breaks down the moment-to-moment decisions that inform EFT so you can immediately incorporate his powerful, proven techniques into your own work.

This is a Post Externship Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy designed to:

  1. Enhance, deepen and expand your work in the EFT model through developing a greater focus in all three Stages of EFT.

  2. Move from the global steps of EFT into the micro-moves of each step to empower therapists to stay on target and remain grounded.

  3. Welcome you to bring your hardest, most complex cases; your greatest stuck spots; your still unanswered questions about using EFT; your most perplexing confusions in using the EFT model.

  4. Best of all, learn how to freshen up, better attune, refine your EFT skills and have some fun doing it.

This is accomplished by:

  1. Going more deeply into stuck spots and complex cases

  2. Expanding your knowledge base

  3. Creating clarity around questions concerning advanced EFT core concepts

  4. Offering help with blocks to the EFT process

  5. Using video clips, experiential activities and vibrant dialogue

  6. Having you come away inspired and more fully engaged in your own work with couples and families.

Who is this Workshop for?

This training is intended for those with at least an Externship in EFT. Basic questions about the application of EFT and attachment theory will not be addressed during this Workshop. Content assumes participants have knowledge of the Stages and Steps of EFT, major interventions and experience applying EFT with couples and/or families.
